The agony of 'da-feet'

(I had to... really. Groan ... it's worth it!)

Read a great article in New York Magazine about how badly we all walk.  I've switched to Earth Shoes for the days I have to wear something on my feet.  Sitting here, today, Thurs., 24 April, in my home office, I am barefoot and my feet are quite happy.

This article is worth reading - esp. for any who are Convention Services Managers and Meeting Planners or exhibitors at shows .. or anyone who puts shoes on ever.

I'm a big fan of Romika - a German shoe. It has a wide enough toe box to accommodate...well, toes! I bought my first pair at Comfort Shoes. They are (in my opinion) both professional looking and comfortable. Back when I first became a meeting planner, I tried to wear pumps at convention because our ED insisted that we wear "professional dress" (as opposed to khakis and an association logo golf shirt, which is what we wanted). I'm sure I didn't look at all stylish as I hobbled from hall to hall.

I have been on a quest for the perfect convention center shoe for years. Now I know why I haven't found it because I should be walking barefoot!! Who knew??
