Courtyard by Marriott San Diego Downtown: Great service http://meetingscollaborative.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=2936&Itemid=#jreview_469 This was one of the blocked hotels for a program I attended, not the actual meeting hotel, so I can't comment on it as a meeting locale. But from a guest point of view, it is beautiful, clean, close to everything, and the service was impeccable. My only beef is that the elevators are down several steps from the lobby, which makes it a pain to lug luggage up and down. But it has a wonderful historic ambiance (and the chicken quesadillas are excellent).
