This property was amazing to work with. Rooms are surprisingly spacious and comfortable, lobby atrium is lovely with convenient restaurants throughout. Meeting rooms are all within footsteps of each other making it easy for attendees to dash back to their rooms for things they need during the day. AV, Catering, Conference Services were all incredibly professional and helpful, with not one dropped ball all week. The food quality was praised by attendees, particularly the awards banquet. This hotel never said no to anything we asked for and followed through flawlessly.

The staff did an acceptable job with the meeting. Meetings under 200 rooms tend to get lost in the size of the meeting space. If there are other larger meetings being held in the facility, it was our experience that the staff directed most of their attention towards the larger meeting and we never really felt like they were concerned with our success.

Walt Disney World Dolphin Orlando: Awesome hotel complex

Simply amazing hotel complex. The Swan has about 50,000 sq ft of meeting space, and several nice restaurants. The Dolphin has the majority of the space, including the huge exhibit halls. All has been redone, and looks great. They have some great restaurants as well, including Shula's and a Todd English. All of the rooms are Sheraton standards, and the bed is a Heavenly Bed. The Dolphin rooms will be completed shortly.
They also are walking distance to the Disney Boardwalk, with a lot of additional shops and restaurants.
The hotel has a very nice spa onsite.

Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate: Company Sales Meeting Recommendation

The Omni Orlando at ChampionsGate was the home of a program for the Timberland Company's Outdoor Group division in May of 2007. As the Meeting Planner, I was extremely pleased on many levels and would highly recommend this program for any future event I plan. The level of service expectation exceeded my expectations and the staff was always there at a moments notice to provide me with results, no matter how crazy the request may have been. The function space is outstanding and the layout very accomodating. For the size of group I had in house there was enough space and then come to accomodate the "environment" layouts we bring in to accomplish the storytelling experience our client requires. Th F&B was also wonderful. The chef is truly creative and offered us a fantastic variety of menus. One of the outdoor international buffets, we allowed him to pick himself, it was wonderful and had was beyond what I could have asked for by ordering just off the menu. Let them get creative and you will be surprised. Enjoy!

It was an exceptional experience from the first site visit through the end of the program. Only one negative point worth mentioning... The hotel owners decided to begin renovation after the contract was signed. I did not find out about it until my first site visit following the signing of the contract. Fortunatetly, my client was not with me, as it gave me time to work out an arrangement with the hotel which was for the hotel to pick up the room rental at the convention center across the stree for the plenary session. All went well, but I would have preferrred a preliminary phone call regarding the renovation rather than learn about it onsite. The food and beverage was outstanding and so was every single staff member we encountered. This conference was haevy in logistics and last minute changes onsite, but the hotel responded quickly and effectively at every wrinkle and turn.

When thinking high-end incentives in Orlando, this hotel belongs in the mix with the Ritz Grand Lakes, the Grand Floridian, and the Hyatt Grand Cypress. Service levels are extraordinary, food and beverage are spectacular, and access to the adjacent Universal Parks couldn't be easier with a quick motorlaunch. Standard rooms are of average size but well-appointed, and the group function space is plentiful and unique. The resort location is hidden right off I-4 making it convenient to off-property tours, etc. The "curb appeal" is spectacular!

I just came back from my final planning meeting at the Dolpin/Swan and was very satisfied with the improvements at both hotels. Sleeping room renovations are complete at the Swan and underway at the Dolphin. Meeting and foyer space is being redone with new wall covering, lighting fixture, and carpeting. They are getting away from the whimsical look and really bringing it up to speed with as a business hotel.

Nice Hotel - all new and spiffy but not rocking anyones world. Big Big Big and not all that user friendly. I did truly like the deli/convenience store concept. And the staff could not have been more friendly.

Issues with bathroom locations, lacks a fun/hip bar, and room product is pedestrian. Good Hotel for a large convention with medium expectations.
