Adams Mark Hotel Denver: now the Sheraton Denver

This is now the Sheraton Denver. The staff is very responsive and once the hotel is renovated, it would be a very nice venue....right now, it's extremely old and looks worn. However, they are planning on undergoing major renovations to the entire hotel so that will be great. The location can't be beat...right on one end of the pedestrian mall.

Red Lion Denver Central: A surprisingly nice smaller hotel

A nice surprise of a hotel - and a welcoming, comfortable lobby with many places to sit and talk.

Totally renovated, the rooms have just been completed and they are comfortable, bright and very nice. (This hotel, owned by the same owners as the Doubletree nearby, has now the same room decor as that hotel.)

Meeting space: 15,000 sf of divisible space with relatively soundproof air walls. Newly redone with carpet, lighting fixtures. Only small complaint: the room was not as bright as I'd have liked it to be.

F&B: The pre-set salad and dessert lunch for the program were excellent and attractive. Table set included some fake fall leaves and a candle in a globe - very attractive. (Room service food was not as good as banquet even tho' I believe they are serviced by the same kitchen.)

Service: From the front desk to the restaurant's deli carry-out to the banquet staff, all staff were superb. They made this hotel a gem.

Free shuttle to and from Denver's airport: THIS is a savings! It runs every half hour and was easy and convenient.

Free wireless internet in the rooms: Nice that it was free; the speed was less than ideal but still usable.

AV: Great service - accommodating and helpful - and it all worked.

Only complaint: a train runs by the hotel. I travel with a 'white noise machine' so wasn't bothered. Imagine others might be.

Probl. a hotel used by govt. and SMERF groups - bec. their rates are lower than some of the closer-in-to-Denver hotels. I recommend looking at it.

Loews Hotel Denver: Made for a Great Board Meeting

Great facility and very easy to work with. Sales process was smooth and efficient--Kari Obernesser was great. I could not be there to manage the event on-site, but delegated to my colleague who was managing the overall meeting. He was very complimentary about the helpfulness of the staff and was grateful at how smoothly everything went. He was not as complimentary about the hotel restaurant, but said the banquet food was good.
