Are you planning on going to MPI-WEC in Las Vegas this year? If so, for the first time, MPI will be holding a Speed Networking session (think speed dating, but less romantic) at the show. The session will be open to an equal number of planners and supplier and is currently limited to 24 of each. This session will be held on SUNDAY, AUGUST 10, 2008 from 3:30pm to 5:00pm.

The session will place planners and suppliers face-to-face for 3-minute quick chats to introduce themselves and open up discussion for future business opportunities. After three minutes, planners will shift and the process starts again! It will be fun, fast, and absolutely productive!

Only one person per company (planner or supplier) will be allowed to take part. For hotels this may be limited to one national representative and/or one property representative. This is done in order to maximize the variety of opportunities.

We want planners from all parts of the world in this. We want suppliers from all realms of the industry taking part. The greater the mix, the better the opportunities!

You will be notified prior to WEC if you have been chosen to take part in this event. A screening process must be done in order to assure fair and balanced participation. We cannot have 10 people from the same company as it would be unfair to others who have no representation. If there are any open spaces, it will be first-come first-serve onsite at the conference.
