Earth Day is over and the world seems to be right back to where it was .. on a difficult path.
How 'bout, here, we each begin contributing to a green resource list.
This from an ASAE Listserv discussion - the question and then the response:
> For our 2009 directory we would like to use a book printer who is green, > right down to the type of power they generate their presses with. Does anyone have any suggestions I can pass on to our communications department?
Response:
Ecoprint in Silver Spring Maryland has been ³Green² for 20 years -- long before it was trendy.
They use 100% wind energy and use soy inks and chlorine free, 100% post-consumer paper.
It is the only print shop I have ever been in that does not smell like solvent and chemicals. Great company!
